Minister Muzhaqi Participates in the Berlin Process Summit Panel on Youth Perspectives for Change

Bora Muzhaqi, Minister of Youth and Children, is taking part in the Berlin Process Summit activities. Minister Muzhaqi participated in the discussion panel “Youth Perspectives: How Can They Be the Change?” while she was in Berlin.

The Civil Society Forum and the 2024 Think Tank Laboratory featured this panel, which was crucial to the vital conversation that took place on the opportunities and problems that young people in the Western Balkans face. This panel, which featured a number of regional ministers as well as well-known youth activists, talked about youth policies throughout the Western Balkans with an emphasis on best practices. The panelists affirmed their belief that through regional initiatives in this area, the youth of the region should further enhance and consolidate collaboration.

During her speech, Minister Muzhaqi spoke at length about the initiatives taken to give Albanian youth more opportunities, such as involving them in local and national decision-making, offering internships as a means of employment, the youth guarantee program, and wonderful plans for internationalizing universities and improving the quality of education offered in Albania.

“We have taken significant steps towards strengthening the role of youth in decision-making because we believe their voice should be heard and translated into real policies that serve their needs,” said Minister Muzhaqi.

A significant subject of conversation was the internationalization of Albanian universities, with the objective of improving the study offer in Albania and making the educational system more appealing and flexible to students. In order to give today’s youth the chance and means to reach their full potential in a more expansive European system, these programs are crucial.

Minister Muzhaqi also attended a number of other meetings while she was in Berlin, where she spoke about the young programs the Albanian government has implemented and the goals it hopes to accomplish.

The Berlin Process Summit offers an important forum for debating vital concerns impacting the region’s development and strengthening collaboration among the Western Balkan nations.
